A HISTORIC ESTATE IN DOWNTOWN BOQUETE
Try to imagine Boquete
in 1898. Back then it was a sleepy mountain village accessible only
by a rough trail. The trail climbed 3000 ft. From the hot and humid
lowlands, up the slopes of Mt. Volcan Baru and into the cool
and green valley of Boquete. In that year a young pioneer arrived
on horseback. He soon realized that he had found his home and began
building next to a clear running spring called big creek. Several
years later the property was sold to a prominent local family and
has been a family estate and gathering center ever since. In Jan.
of 2005 Ron and Yalty Mager purchased the property. After 9 months
of hard labor the house and property were returned to there former
glory. It is now the intimate mountain retreat called “The Boquete
Country Inn”. The Inn is 1 ½ blocks from the town
square and is surrounded by two acres of old growth trees and flower
beds. A stream runs thru the middle of the property. The waterfall
where the first electricity for Boquete was generated still exists
to this day.
The five individually
decorated rooms offer the best of two worlds. While here you will
feel the intrigue and mystique of 100 years of guests who also slept
in your room.
But today you will
enjoy direct t.v., wireless internet, plenty of hot water for your
shower and a comfortable bed.
While visiting Boquete
stay where the pioneers stayed, walk where they walked and dream
where they dreamed.

It’s all here for you at the “Boquete Country Inn”.
